Treat It to Defeat It is an outgrowth of Dr. Caroline Sparks' graduate-level public health course, "Community Organization, Development, and Advocacy", at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services in Washington, D.C.
The inaugural group for T2D (as it is called) began in the fall semester of 2007. Now in autumn 2008, we the T2D team have elected to focus our efforts on addressing the issues of drug use and treatment, housing and homelessness, and HIV/AIDS in our District.
